The property: The property is detached and has its own swimming pool which also benefits from solar heating. The front terrace is covered and a solarium on the first floor provides a nice vantage point to enjoy the views. Once inside, the property has a nice traditional Spanish feel to it although the owners have ensured that the guest will be fully catered for with all the necessary modern essentials. Ceiling fans and hot and cold air conditioning is provided throughout the house. The solar heating will also provide the hot water and in the cooler months where they may be less sunshine, there is a traditional electric boiler ensuring constant hot water. The dining area has a lovely side board and dining table with 6 chairs. property imageThe kitchen leads off from the entrance area and is equipped with a fridge freezer and extra cold drinks fridge, oven & hob, microwave and washing machine. All the necessary essential items are also provided to enable full self catering including, toaster, kettle etc and even an iron and ironing board. The galleria off of the kitchen also provided additional storage space and home for an extra fridge. Into the living area and there a 2 and 3 seater sofas, occasional tables and a sideboard for the television. A UK TV system is also provided and a DVD player.  A telephone and internet service is also available for long term tenants at their expense.A working fire place provides a nice feature in the lounge which can also be used with logs for heating in the winter months.property image

There is also a bathroom with bath, overhead shower, bidet, w.c and wash hand basin. The master bedroom is located on the ground floor where there is a double bed, fitted wardrobes, bedside tables, an additional drawer unit and air conditioning.  Upstairs to the first floor and there is a bathroom with a shower, wash hand basin, w.c and bidet. One the bedrooms has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and bedside tables. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and fitted wardrobes . All bedrooms have ceiling fans and hot and cold air conditioning. Bedding is provided together with bath and hand towels. Access to the solarium is via the upper landing. Back downstairs and outside there is a purpose built BBQ with chimney, an external table and chairs and the owner has also provided 2 sun loungers. This is a very nice property in an ideal location for anybody looking for a long term stay in a more tranquil environment.

Location Lovely villa overlooking surrounding countryside on the outskirts of the original village of Torremendo. The area has an abundance of almonds, a nearby lake and orange groves. The countryside also offers refuge to a number of animals including rabbits, hares and partridges. The freshwater lake is also a popular for those who like fishing with the chance of catching Carp and even some Trout and other common species. A fishing licence may be obtained for €7.10 which is valid for 1 year. The nearby popular multi adventure site at Lo Rufete also has much to offer including horse riding, quad bikes, mountain bikes and hiking all of which take advantage of the natural surroundings. They also offer paint ball and archery. Only a short drive away from the local town of San Miguel with its local market every Wednesday and 20 minutes drive from the main town of Torrevieja. Beaches aplenty along the coast line only 20 minutes away and a choice of golf courses in the area.
